A more usable home starts with the person who lives there. Sacred Innovations coordinates home modifications that can improve everyday access and convenience, with the layout and details developed around the occupant’s actual needs.

Discuss the daily routine
Bathroom entry, shower access, storage reach, door operation, and walking routes may all be part of the conversation. A caregiver or occupational therapist can help identify needs that a photograph or standard checklist will miss. We use that input to define the construction scope.
Coordinate the whole space
A low-threshold shower alone does not resolve every access issue. Floor transitions, usable clearances, controls, lighting, and support locations need to be considered together. Where grab bars or other supports are planned, anchorage must suit the product, occupant needs, and wall construction.
Review feasibility before commitment
Existing framing, plumbing, door locations, and room dimensions can limit options. We coordinate appropriately licensed trades and project-specific design review where required. Accessibility compliance depends on the applicable requirements and completed details; we do not label every residential modification ADA-compliant.
Prepare for a consultation
Bring room photographs, rough dimensions, the main difficulties with the current space, and any recommendations from the occupant’s care or design professionals. Explain whether the goal is an immediate change, future preparation, or a larger renovation.
