Flex Rooms & home theaters
Make room for your kind of living.
The opening credits. The game-winning shot. A door you close on the rest of the day. Some rooms are made for the things you love.
Home theaters, custom minibars, social rooms, recording studios, man cave makeovers, she shed glow-ups, and garages reimagined as pool rooms or home gyms. We bring craftsmanship, an eye for detail, and a little Sacred attitude to spaces that deserve a personality of their own.
Maybe it is the spare room collecting everything except memories. The upstairs space with great potential and no real purpose. Or the backyard shed you keep imagining as somewhere you would actually want to spend an afternoon.
We start with what you want to do there. Who is coming over? What needs a place? How should the room feel when you walk in? Those answers shape the layout, lighting, storage, and finishes. The result should feel considered, comfortable, and unmistakably yours.
Eight ways to make it yours
Pick your pleasure.
A starting point for your imagination. Every room gets its own plan.
01 / Home theaters
Dim the lights. Raise the curtain.
Make movie night an occasion. A theater should draw you into the screen, with a room arrangement that keeps everyone comfortable and the everyday clutter out of the picture.
Screen and seating layout. Light control. Media walls and equipment storage. A plan for sound, power, and concealed wiring.
02 / Entertainment & social rooms
Host with a little swagger.
Game day that turns into game night. A conversation that carries on long after dinner. Build the room around gathering, with places to sit, serve, play, and move without everyone competing for the same corner.
Entertainment centers. Game and lounge zones. Serving areas. Display shelving. Storage that keeps the good times easy.
03 / Man cave makeovers
Off duty. Entirely you.
The records you collect. The team you follow. The hobby you never have enough room for. Give those things a home with materials, lighting, and built-ins that make the room feel intentional.
Collection displays. Gaming setups. Custom shelving. Feature walls. A place for your gear and your favorite chair.
04 / She shed glow-ups
A little escape. A lot of you.
A studio for making things. A reading retreat. A quiet place to think, work, or spend time with friends. Bring the same care to a backyard retreat that you would to your favorite room inside.
Interior finishes. Work surfaces. Thoughtful storage. Windows and lighting. Comfort and utilities considered from the start.
05 / Garage pool rooms
Rack them up. Settle in.
Turn an underused garage into the room everyone gravitates toward. Build the atmosphere around the table, with space for a full cue stroke, a comfortable place to watch, and lighting that gives the game its due.
Table and cue clearances. Focused table lighting. Durable flooring. Cue storage. Lounge seating and a finish with some swagger.
06 / Garage home gyms
Your pace. Your place.
Make the daily workout easier to show up for. A garage gym should fit the equipment you use, the way you train, and the space you need to move—then give you a reason to enjoy being there.
Equipment layout and clearances. Suitable flooring. Wall storage. Mirrors, lighting, ventilation, and comfort considered together.
07 / Recording & podcast studios
Your voice. Your own space.
The late-night track. The first episode. The idea that deserves more than a corner of the kitchen table. Give your music or podcast a room that works with your equipment and has a look worth putting on camera.
Desk and equipment layout. Acoustic treatment planned for the room. Cable routing, instrument storage, and lighting for recording or filming. Sound isolation and specialist audio requirements scoped separately.
08 / Custom minibars
A little bar. A lot of character.
A jewel of a minibar tucked into a forgotten alcove. A wall of beautifully lit bottles and glassware. A coffee-to-cocktails station at the center of your social room. We bring the cabinetry, surfaces, and atmosphere together around the way you entertain.
Custom storage and displays. Statement backsplashes. Layered lighting. Beverage refrigeration and serving space. Wet-bar plumbing considered where it belongs in the plan.

Custom accent wallsGive the room its signature.
A sweep of geometric trim. A crisp grid of panels. Deep color that makes the whole room feel different. An accent wall gives your space a point of view without asking every surface to compete.
Style, color, and the feeling you want from the room give us a starting point. From there, the pattern takes shape on the wall—one piece, one intersection, one unexpected idea at a time.
Unless you request a specific design in advance, we leave room for the composition to evolve throughout the build. Symmetrical or asymmetrical, the result is a one-of-a-kind piece shaped by your space. That final reveal still has a way of surprising us, too.
Quiet color. Bold geometry. Love this look? Let’s create a statement wall that feels like you.
01 / Symmetrical designs
Balance, by design.
Centered panels, repeating grids, and evenly spaced battens create a composed, architectural feel. Align the pattern with a bed, dining table, fireplace, or other focal point for a room that feels beautifully ordered.
Angled trim, offset panels, and changing proportions give the wall movement. The pattern does not need to mirror itself to feel balanced; we work through the spacing and intersections so each line has a reason to be there.
Keep it tonal and understated, or give the room a bold contrast. We can coordinate the wall with shelving, a media installation, lighting, and the finishes around it.
Wood & faux-wood ceiling beamsLook up. That's the difference.
A single beam can draw the eye across a room. A repeating layout can give a tall ceiling rhythm and make an open space feel more connected. The right proportion matters as much as the finish.
We offer wood and faux-wood options, with the profile, color, spacing, and installation planned around your ceiling. Fans, lights, vents, and transitions belong in that design conversation from the start.
White grid beams and stained wood panels give this finished ceiling its rhythm and warmth.
01 / Wood ceiling beams
Natural grain. Made for your room.
Real wood brings warmth and variation that belong to the material itself. We can discuss solid wood or beams built from real-wood boards, then choose the dimensions, join details, and stain or painted finish to suit the space.
Real-wood materials · Custom proportions · Stained or painted finishes · Flat or vaulted ceiling layouts
02 / Faux-wood ceiling beams
The wood look. Another way to get there.
A manufactured wood-look beam offers another route to the texture and character you want overhead. We review available profiles and finishes, along with the product's weight and mounting requirements, to choose an option that suits the room.
Manufactured wood-look products · Texture and color options · Product-specific profiles · Coordinated installation
These are decorative ceiling features. We review any structural requirements separately, and coordinate the beam layout with existing fans and fixtures.
A custom media wall. The glow of an electric fireplace. A solid-wood ceiling beam, handcrafted and stained by our crew, that gives the room its signature. Thoughtful lighting completes the setting, with the existing statement fan modified to accommodate the new beam. Watch the work take shape, then see the finished space.

Three whites. One unforgettable room.
The homeowners were hosting a “My Favorite Things” party. They wanted their living room to feel clean, modern, minimal—and ready for good company.
Smooth from the start.
Level 5 wall finishing gave the space the smooth backdrop the homeowners wanted, letting light and architectural details carry the room.
A mantel made for the room.
We built a custom, hand-carved modern fireplace mantel, then framed and trimmed the windows to complete the room.
White, with dimension.
Three complementary shades of white brought subtle depth to the walls and details while keeping the overall feel calm and minimal.

A room made for gathering
The invitation was personal. So was the work.
This was a living room with a specific occasion and a clear point of view. Every finish choice needed to support the same feeling: a bright, composed space where the people—and the good times—could take center stage.
That is what we love about a Flex Room. Its personality comes from the way you want to live in it.

Flex Rooms · Loft-to-office conversion
An office by day. A welcome stay.
An open upstairs loft became a private office with a new wall and a custom-designed pocket door. A custom-fabricated Murphy bed lets the office welcome overnight guests. A matching desk, floating shelves, and a bladeless ceiling fan brought the space together. Watch the bed open and the room change roles.

Privacy. Purpose. A place to stay.
Follow the wall and pocket door taking shape, then explore the matching woodwork that lets one room do two jobs. These photographs document the installation and its details.
At Meadowside, we reworked an oversized entertainment room into a divided primary suite with French-style pocket doors and charging access for everyday devices.
A room can earn its keep in more than one way. A home office that welcomes overnight guests. A creative studio with storage that disappears when friends arrive. A lounge that gives the family room a night off.
Murphy beds, built-in cabinetry, flexible furniture layouts, and well-placed storage can make the change feel natural. We consider the space needed to open, move, sit, and use the room in each configuration—because a clever idea still has to work in everyday life.
The finish matters. So does the outlet behind the screen, the shelf that fits your collection, and the path through the room when every seat is taken. We want the experience to feel as good as the photograph looks.
01
Start with your version.
Bring the wish list, inspiration, and the things you already own. We talk through how you want to use the room, the look you love, and what you want to invest.
02
Make the pieces work together.
Review the layout, materials, storage, and lighting as one plan. Theater equipment, electrical work, climate control, and any specialist work are considered with the room's requirements.
03
Build the room you look forward to.
Agree on the scope and schedule, then bring the details together with care. From a focused makeover to a fuller conversion, the ambition stays the same: a space you are excited to use and proud to share.
A few practical details
Before the big reveal.
Does this need to be a complete remodel?
No. A feature wall, built-ins, updated finishes, or a better layout may be the right scope. We can also discuss a complete room transformation.
Can you work with equipment or furniture I already own?
Yes. Tell us what you want to keep, including equipment models and furniture dimensions when available. Those details help shape the layout and storage.
Can an existing shed become a finished retreat?
That starts with the building itself. We review its condition and intended use, then discuss insulation, power, heating and cooling, and any permit or specialist requirements as part of the scope.
What should I bring to the first conversation?
A few photos of the space, your ZIP code, what you want to do there, and any ideas about budget or timing. Inspiration is welcome; a finished design is not required.
